Lenkerhof Gourmet Spa Resort - Relais & Chateaux, Lenk

Staying at Lenkerhof for 2 nights in a junior suite was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious with a jacuzzi tub, steam shower, and a balcony offering a beautiful view of the mountains, but it would've been great to enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace during the sunrise. The service was top-notch, with attentive, young, and enthusiastic staff, though some amenities were missing. The location, while close to hiking opportunities, lacked sunbeds and warm water in some areas. The dining experience offered varied local cheeses and a good selection but lacked space in the dining room. The overall facilities were satisfactory, but some improvements could enhance the guest experience.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were quite disappointing for a 5-star hotel, with slow and terrible internet connection. The swimming pool's air temperature should have been warmer, and the experience of fetching my own car from the car park was unexpected for this level of luxury. On the bright side, the hotel was extremely quiet, which I found lovely, and it offered everything one could need without over-the-top luxury. The rooftop, however, was not well maintained, with dead and unsightly greens over the winter.
